The Vines adalah grup musik rock Australia yang dibentuk di Sydney pada tahun 1994. Musik mereka digambarkan sebagai campuran musik rock garasi tahun 1960-an dan rock alternatif tahun 1990-an . Grup musik ini telah mengalami beberapa kali perubahan susunan pemain, dengan vokalis/gitaris Craig Nicholls sebagai satu-satunya yang tetap sepanjang sejarah grup musik ini.
Keberhasilan Vines di industri rekaman Australia menghasilkan kemenangan Penghargaan ARIA untuk Artis Terobosan – Singel untuk " Get Free " dan menerima lima nominasi lainnya untuk album perdana mereka Highly Evolved , ditambah dua nominasi lebih lanjut pada tahun-tahun berikutnya. Pada tahun 2003, album tersebut meraih platinum di Australia, [ 1 ] dan sejak itu band tersebut telah merilis empat album dan kompilasi terbaik dari masa mereka di Capitol Records . Vines telah merilis tujuh album studio.
